European cloud storage
Your files are stored in the EU, under EU law, and encrypted before they get there.
No card or iDEAL needed to start.
Why where your files live matters
The country a provider and its servers sit in decides which laws can force it to hand over your data. A data centre in Europe is not the same thing as a European provider, and the difference is what the rest of this page is about.
How to spot sovereignty washing
- Where is the company based? Not only where its servers are.
- Who owns the data centre? And who can instruct them?
- Which law governs the contract? Read the terms, not the marketing.
- Can the provider read your data anyway? Location only protects what the provider cannot read.

What we do
Your files are stored in the EU, under EU law, and prices are in euros. The transparency page names the current location, and we only claim what is live today.
Even in the EU, we only store ciphertext
Location decides who can ask. Encryption decides what there is to hand over. When we are legally compelled, we hand over what we have, and what we have is ciphertext. See our law enforcement guidelines and how the encryption works.
