Running a business on your own means choosing your own tools. We believe that choice should include more European options, with clear answers about who operates them, where your files go and how they are protected.
For years, American tools have earned a place in our working lives because they were useful. We think Europe should be able to build tools people choose for the same reason. That is why we’re building Beebeeb. We want the European choice to become an ordinary part of getting work done.
We’re starting with end-to-end encrypted cloud storage. Our browser app is available today for keeping and retrieving your own files. Beebeeb is an early product; shared workspaces and editing documents together are still in development. If those are essential to your work, our current offer does not yet cover that need.
Beebeeb is built in the Netherlands, with storage in Europe, starting in Germany. More European locations are planned.
An invoice carries details about your work and the person paying you. Our design encrypts file content on your device before upload, so hosted storage receives an encrypted copy. A client with the required keys decrypts it when you need to read it again. We still process account, billing and technical information, and your device and recovery material need care too. We have made our clients and encryption core public; the hosted server code is private. People can inspect the published code and question our choices. You can value that openness without becoming a programmer. An independent cryptographic audit is still outstanding, and published source alone does not verify every running service. What is public.
If you decide to evaluate Beebeeb, start with a file task you already handle and keep your existing copies while you judge the fit. The 14-day trial requires a payment method. Your selected monthly or annual plan is charged automatically on day 15 unless you cancel. Card verification uses a €0 authorisation; iDEAL uses an automatically refunded €0.01 verification payment and creates a SEPA mandate.
